2026 ECERS International Meeting

Following our successful 2025 meeting in Seville, we are delighted to announce that the ECERS International Meeting 2026 will be held in Oslo, Norway.

This is the first time the International Meeting will be held in Norway and Oslo will not disappoint. You will see contemporary architecture (Oslo Opera House), world-class museums (Munch Museum & Viking Ship Museum) all nestled in numerous green spaces such as the Vigeland Sculpture Park. Oslo is a great starting point if you want to extend your stay and discover the spectacular Norwegian fjords.

We are indebted to our colleague Elisabeth Bjørnestad and the team at OsloMet University (Pilestredet 42, 0167 Oslo) for hosting the conference in Norway’s capital city.

We will be sending more detailed information on accommodation, fees and the Call for Papers etc. shortly.

The International Meeting is an opportunity for colleagues from around the world who research, work, study or just have an interest in early years education and care, be it policy, practice or research, to keep in touch with developments in our field.
